Things I Loved In July

Things I Loved In July

July has flown by! Seriously! I feel like I was just writing my “Things I Loved In June” post, and here I am writing about the great goodness I’ve found in July!

On The Personal Front

Things here have been hopping along as usual, and a lot has been going on this month.

We had more friends come down for a visit from Pennsylvania (where my man grew up), and one of them just so happens to be a photographer. She’s such a blessing because she comes down for a bit of vacation, and always ends up taking family photos for everyone in our whole family… and if you’ve been keeping up with me for a while, you know that there are A LOT of people in my family. Here’s one of ours…

Uriah (18 mo.), Dean, Judah (5 yrs.), Meagan, Isaiah (3 yrs.)

My man got a raise at work!!! Thanks Dad (my FIL), and thank you God! This really helps when it comes to fixing up our house. For those of you who run your own businesses or if your man has his own business, you know how raises go for owners… sometimes they’re further apart than you’d really like, but you’ve got to make sure there’s money for EVERYTHING else! Either way, we’re stoked!

Speaking of working on house, we’re inching closer and closer. The rock is now totally on the area where the stove goes. We just need to grout it, and all the trim is in except for the crown molding trim and the trim in the bathrooms… it’s still drying! But, the house is really coming together and looking great! I can’t wait to get in there and get settled! I have big plans for my studio/office area and my kitchen!

My parents! Hey, today’s my parent’s 31st wedding anniversary! Go mom and dad! They’re great parents and have given me a great foundation for my life as an adult. I’m so thankful for them!

On The Health Front

Since my job is an online one, I’m constantly coming across great, inspiring healthy living info. So much in fact that I think my family is getting sick of me saying, “Hey… did you know…”. Now they’re just saying, “Don’t tell me anymore!!” LOL! Anyway, here are some new things that I’m loving this month.

Making my life easier with these Real Food Meal Plans from Holistic Squid.

These natural toothpaste alternatives.

How to decorate GAPS diet cakes… very interesting.

How to clean makeup brushes without chemicals… need to do this more!

Speaking of makeup… I’m gonna have to try making my own homemade foundation powder.

3 secrets on how to get a flat stomach… um, yes please!

How to make elderberry wine. I so want to try this!!

20-minute summer full body workout if you wanna get fit, but you’re strapped for time.

30 homemade, all natural cold & flu recipes

Enjoy…. xo xo, Meagan

Wow, what a beautiful family you have, Meagan! I enjoyed reading what is going on in your life–what a blessing, it sounds like many things are going well. Thanks for mentioning my cake decorating link. I appreciate it! 🙂
