We all know kombucha is healthy for us. It’s a fermented tea product that aids the body in detox, digestion, boosting the immune system, and overall bodily health, but no matter how good we parents know it is for us, it can sometimes be difficult to get our kids to happily drink it.

    What are your thoughts on the risk of giving children kombucha? My three year old loves it and in researching flavors, I came across how it might not be wise to give to children still building up their own immune system and growing digestive systems.

      I think there is some debate over kombucha Rachel, but I’m not really sure what all the fuss is about. I’ve certainly not looked into it all that much as I’ve not been too concerned that it could be bad for my kids. Most parents that I know, natural-minded parents that is, give their kids kombucha. Not only does it help to build up their “growing digestive systems,” but it helps to strengthen their immune system as well.
