The end of August is here, and for me, that means the end of summer. Vacations are over, school starts back next week, and cooler weather is moving in here on the mountain. Now, I don’t know about you, but I’m ready for fall. I hear a lot of people saying they’re doing everything they can to hold on to the last bit of summer, and although I enjoy the warm summer months, autumn is my favorite season so I’m ready to welcome it in. I look forward to the cooler weather, warm clothes and new styles, and the...Read More

Hi, friends! July has come and gone, although a little too quickly for my taste. I’ve been kicked back this summer, trying to take it easier than I normally do. I’ve been sleeping in, doing a lot of reading, and spending lots of time outside in the sun. If you get my Letters To Natural Mamas emails, you’ll already know all that though. Today, I’m back with another “Things I Love” post where I share 5 of my favorite things from this past month with you. Seeing how I missed this post last month (on account of my laziness),...Read More
Hi, friends! The end of May is here, and that means I’m back with another “Things I Love” post where I share 5 of my favorite things from this past month with you. It’s always hard to pick only 5 things because every month seems to be filled with many things that I love. It’s so hard to choose! Not only am I sharing 5 things I love, but I’m sharing how I did meeting my May goals as well as what my goals for June are. If you like these kinds of posts (a mix of personal and...Read More
Whew! April has been a crazy busy month for me, and I’m kind of glad it’s over. Maybe May will be a bit more laid back, and I’ll have time to breathe some. This past month, although it’s been busy, has been a fun one. Our family has spent a lot of time together outdoors which has me looking forward to summer a bit more. We’re also finishing up our homeschool year which is nice seeing how I have a love-hate relationship with homeschooling. Sometimes I love it, and sometimes I hate it. LOL! I’m also finalizing the official launch...Read More
So here we are again, at the end of another month, and what a month it’s been. It’s been a busy one for me. How about you? Can you believe a quarter of 2017 is almost over? I’m almost afraid to look back to see what I’ve accomplished during this first quarter. I often feel like I’m so busy, and it’s hard to see what all this busyness is amounting to. Maybe I’m still too close to it. Maybe I need another quarter to really see the progress I’m making. Okay, moving on. Spring is officially here friends, and...Read More
I can’t believe it’s aready time for another Things I Love post! February is almost over, and March is just around the corner. I don’t know about you, but although I always look forward to winter, I ALWAYS look forward to spring. Warmer days, flowers blooming, birds chirping, playing outside… I can’t wait! Anyway, I’m back today to share some of my favorite things from the past month with you. As always, thanks for letting me share bits of life with you. Without you, Growing Up Herbal would not be the same. xo, Meagan Favorite Project We’re constantly fixing things up...Read More
Oh, my word! Can you believe the first month of 2017 is OVER? This past month has been a bit crazy as far as weather goes. One day it’s bright and sunny, like a warm spring day, then a few days later, it’s freezing cold, and we’re snowed in up here on the mountain (which is the case right now). Yep. The snow fell all night last night, and I woke up to the quiet woods covered in a blanket of snow. It’s gorgeous! Snow, my friends, makes me happy… like, Lorelai from Gilmore Girls, happy. Anyway, I’m back today to share...Read More
Hey, mama! If you live here in the US, I hope you and your sweet family had a Happy Thanksgiving! We certainly did! Thanksgiving always ends up giving both Dean and I a good bit of time off work (and the kids get a break from school). As always, it was a fun, busy time. We celebrated by eating meals with both sides of our family (my side and Dean’s side), we visited with friends and family, and we spent quality time with each other as well. And if you’re not in the US and didn’t celebrate Thanksgiving this...Read More
