Well if that sounds like you and your kids, then I have a great recipe for you today that I think your kids will love. I know mine do!
Nut Butter & Honey Banana Snack
- fresh bananas
- nut butter of your choice
- raw honey
I think this is a bit obvious, but I’m going to put directions on here anyway.
- Slice your banana in small pieces.
- Smear a small amount of your nut butter on each slice of banana.
- Warm some raw honey on the stove to liquify it, then pour it over your bananas to add a sweet finishing touch.
Now, if you don’t feel like smearing nut butter on each piece of banana because you’re crunched for time like I sometimes am, you can always put some of your nut butter in your saucepan with your raw honey and melt and mix them together. Once it’s warm and runny, just pour it on top of the bananas, and you’re good to go!
These are also great if you want to skip the honey all together and just go with nut butter and banana!
