You know that feeling you get right before you go into labor… the one where you feel so ready for your baby to come, but at the same time, not quite prepared for it just yet?
Well, that’s EXACTLY how I’m feeling right now!
I’ve gone through the whole pregnancy, labor, and delivery process four times with my own children, and over the last 15 months, I’ve gone through something VERY similar as this new Growing Up Herbal website redesign has been conceived, created, and birthed.

Meet my 5th child, y’all!
Today, I feel nervous and super vulnerable, and even though my perfectionist tendencies are screaming at me right now, I’m spankin’ this baby’s bottom and making him cry.
This website redesign has been in the works since September of 2015 when I had finally saved up enough money to hire a “real” web designer/developer to create a custom new look for Growing Up Herbal. As I told you in my last post, Growing Up Herbal had transitioned a lot by that point, and I knew it was time to rebrand and get clear on what Growing Up Herbal was here for and where it was headed in the future.
I reached out to some designers via a business group I was a part of, and four returned my emails with their media kits. As soon as I looked through Jamie Galley’s kit from Just Make Things, I knew she was the one! Not only did she offer the complete package I was looking for, but it was like she could read my mind and knew exactly where I was at and how to help me get where I wanted to be!
We started out working to get clear on my brand and how I can position myself in this space. Jamie is SO patient. Not only does she ask all the right questions, but she’s not afraid to tell you to be boss and make those hard decisions. She’s also not afraid to pause the process and backtrack if need be. Her main goal is to define and visualize a brand that it 100% you in every way.
And here it is. My personal and business brand, merged into one, in what you see here today… new photos, new copy, new everything! This place is one-of-a-kind. It’s my cozy, natural, woodland home away from home. I’m in love with this space, and my hope is that you will love it too!
